Just wanted to say thank you for another wonderful stay at your lovely farm….as per our previous visit the carriage was lovely and clean and cosy and we had a fab time, despite the weather which is beyond your control. The boys loved their evening strolls on the farm, even if they did scare themselves.
We will definitely be back to see you again and love your little haven of peace and quiet and lovely campfires with goat burgers. Keep up the great work you are doing at Cupola…xx

We stayed at Cupola farm last weekend with friends in 2 carriages. Booking was very easy and Sarah answered all questions efficiently. We are local and had visited the farm before but never been glamping. The carriages are both fitted out with everything you need and they have been designed beautifully. They are extremely comfortable and we enjoyed staying in them for 2 nights. It was ideal to have our own toilet and shower facilities, also access to a kitchen area.
Penny and Stuart are such warm and welcoming hosts. The children played outside all the time we were there, playing in the garden on the trampoline or in the play area. They enjoyed feeding the goats and alpacas, some great photo opportunities. Stuart even delayed feeding the animals for a while on Sunday morning until our friends had woken up which was really thoughtful.
Having the outdoor fire pit lit every night is such a relaxing way to end the day, marshmallows were roasted of course. The farm is set in a peaceful location with lovely views.
The children enjoyed the guided walk around the farm seeing all the animals and collecting peacock feathers in particular was a highlight. Brushing Pedro the miniature Shetland pony was such a great experience of getting hands on with a horse, all the children loved this interaction, and Pedro was so cute and calm.
We are already looking to plan our next trip. We would highly recommend.

We are just back from our second visit to Cupola Farm and are already planning our third! Stuart and Penny could not be more friendly, welcoming and accommodating and they gave the children such a memorable weekend. From goat feeding, walks to see the peahens, grooming the pony and dog walking to retrieving lost pictures stuck up in the branches of a massive oak tree, they really are incredible hosts. Their philosophy is ‘happy kids = happy parents’ , although I would amend that slightly to ‘very excited kids = delighted and slightly tipsy parents’. The tents and carriages are wonderfully comfy and inviting and are extremely well kitted out. You have your own private and spacious shower and loo and the communal kitchen is equipped with everything you might need too. The surroundings are simply stunning and the sunsets are just magical. We’ve had two wonderful stays and will be back again soon. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you so much, Penny and Stuart!

What an incredible weekend we have had at Cupola Farm! The outside has never been so inviting! We had every single thing provided by Penny and Stuart that we needed to make for a magical, fun packed, relaxing weekend. Everything from the last unique fire pit, the immaculate individual washrooms, the well equipped communal kitchen, the range of beautiful animals, feeding the goats, grooming the horses, gorgeous walks, a beautifully and thoughtfully accessorised bell tent, really comfy beds and a very warm welcome!
We cannot wait to come back!

We have had our first but most certainly not our last visit to Cupola Farm, we went with some friends based on their recommendation from last year and we had the most fantastic weekend staying in the wonderfully restored carriage which was so cosy and had everything we needed in it for our weekend. Penny & Stuart are wonderful hosts and the whole site is just excellent, lovely and spacious for social distancing, clean and warm and excellent toilet and shower facilities and a lovely kitchen area that has everything needed for a lovely relaxing weekend. The animals are an added bonus and our heavy metal loving teenager was rather taken by a goat called GG who he took on a walk on a lead! We also came away with some lovely home bred goats meat which we will be trying out on lovely curry recipe that Penny gave us…all in all a wonderful place to stay to relax and unwind and would highly recommend to anyone who loves glamping… Thank you Penny & Stuart and we shall see you again…

Just home from an amazing weekend at Cupola farm. Penny, Stuart and the family are wonderful hosts. The facilities are great, very spacious and clean and the animals are just superb. Our children loved exploring to find wildlife and feeding the goats and alpacas every day. Our daughter became rather attached to one of the baby goats and is still sad that we couldn’t bring her home. We cannot recommend a stay at Cupola highly enough. We will definitely be making a return visit. Thanks so much for having us, we had a brilliant time!

Cannot recommend this farm enough, the owners Stuart and Penny were the best host ever, they went above and beyond to make our stay a very memorable one, the bell tents were very spacious and clean, we all had our own toilets and showers very close by, lovely little kitchen with everything you could possibly want…just like being at home, wish we could have stayed longer, it really is the best place for children too, they will love it, our 11yr old Granddaughter was in her element.
Thank you Stuart and Penny for everything x

We love Cupola farm Have visited twice now and will definitely be making many more return trips! Have stayed in both a bell tent and a carriage – both beautiful and clean. Bonus of having your own toilet/wetroom. Penny and Stuart are so welcoming and friendly and the interaction and experience they provide for children is amazing – we have never had a holiday or a farm trip where the children can be so involved. My daughter talks about our holidays here all the time – she loves nothing more than feeding the goats in her PJ’s and wellies every morning! Thank you for allowing us to make some fantastic memories xxx

We had a wonderful time at cupola farm, especially with the abundant and varied farm animals. We have been here twice and both times been reluctant to leave. The children (me and my sister) have really enjoyed it and shall most likely moan at our mum and dad till we go back. We loved feeding the goats, playing on the trampoline and generally seeing the surrounding wildlife. (Though the latter was mostly me)
If I had to summarise it up with one word it would most likely be:
AWESOME!!!

Absolutely beautiful place. The converted railway carriages are luxuriously kitted-out and really comfortable, the bathrooms scrupulously clean and bright. The animals are a complete joy – from the goats, horses and peacocks to the family dogs and cat. Most of all though, the warmth and welcome from Penny and Stuart – so kind, accommodating and friendly. Will certainly be returning.
Freya, age 9 says;
I like Cupola farm because the beds are warm and the blankets are annoying. Also we get to help Penny and Stuart to feed all the animals like the pigs, the alpacas, the goats, the ducks, the geese, the chickens and the ‘runner ducks’. We also get to see the ducks that change colour in the sun. And I also really like the doggies, and Bella always jumping onto my lap. Stuart and Penny are very nice and let me do stuff. And I really really like talking to Stuart. And I felt very sad when I had to leave.
We would definitely recommend Cupola Farm for both couples and families and we look forward to visiting again.
